Everything between
“record” and “done”

Memofyd is not a transcription service with extras bolted on. The transcript is the raw material; what you actually want is what comes after it.

Capture

Recording that fits how you work

Meetings without a bot

Google Meet, Zoom and Teams are captured locally from your computer's own audio. No extra participant appears in the call, nobody has to admit a bot, and nobody has to be told they are being recorded by a stranger's software.

In-person conversations

The microphone path works anywhere — a coffee, a corridor, a phone call on speaker. One button, and a live word count and speaking pace while you talk.

One recording at a time

Press record while something is already recording and the first one is closed, saved and summarised before the new one starts. Nothing is silently lost.

Calendar aware

Upcoming meetings appear with a capture button, so starting a recording is one click at the moment the call begins rather than a thing you remember afterwards.

Understanding

Built for how India actually talks

Most tools treat a Hindi–English sentence as broken English. This one treats it as a sentence.

Five languages in, English out

English, Hindi, Hinglish, Punjabi and Urdu. Urdu is translated. Summaries, action items and drafted emails always come back in English, so you are never the one translating.

Speakers, separated

Who said what, with timestamps you can jump to. In a captured meeting the real participant names are attached, not “Speaker 1”.

Structured notes

Decisions, commitments, open questions and action items pulled out separately — not one undifferentiated paragraph of summary.

Meeting insights

Talk-time balance, turn-taking, sentiment. It says nothing rather than inventing an engagement score when only one person spoke.

Afterwards

The follow-through

Action items with owners and dates

Attributed to whoever agreed to it, with the deadline if one was mentioned. Push any of them into Linear without leaving the app.

Calendar and email actions

A follow-up meeting or a recap email is proposed, and shown to you as a draft you edit and confirm. Nothing is ever sent on your behalf without you seeing it.

Soundbites and trimming

Clip the passage that mattered, name it, group clips into playlists, share one with a link. Trim out the dead air first if you like.

Exports that suit the reader

PDF, Word, Markdown, plain text, SRT and VTT subtitles, MP3, WAV, MP4. The PDF renders Devanagari, Gurmukhi and Arabic scripts properly rather than as boxes.

Search across everything

Full text over every conversation you have recorded, however long ago, with the matching moment highlighted.

Ask your own history

Put a question to months of recordings — “what did we agree about the vendor?” — and get an answer with links to where it was said.

Sixty minutes, free

Enough to record something real and judge it on the result rather than the marketing.
